How do you join the group? It is very simple to join. Just come to one of our meetings or attend one of our scheduled outings. There is no formal process for signing up. If you want to be on our email list to receive newsletters or updates to the schedule, just sign up for that on the contact page by clicking the box for "Add me to email list". Back to top Does it cost anything to join? No, there are no fees to join. Occasionally, however, some of our scheduled activities may involve payment, like going to the movies or out to lunch. In this case each person would be responsible for their own cost. Back to top Is the group limited to a specific age range? We are a support group for seniors, but we prefer to have that be self-defined by each individual. Is the group only for gay men? No, we welcome lesbians, transgendered and bisexual persons, as well. Our goal is to be inclusive and to be available to all the seniors in our community. Back to top Will my privacy be maintained? Absolutely! We will not share names, contact information, email addresses or any other private information with anyone. Individuals attending our events may share this information with one another if they wish, but we do not share information with anyone, even other members of the group. Back to top Does the group provide social services? No, social services are not available with this group. However, we are hosted by the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center which can help with various issues and can give referrals to various social services for the GLBT community. Back to top Where are activities held? Our support group meetings are held at the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center. Other activities will be held in various places -- usually in the Sacramento area.
